Required Postings
Copies of the required postings are available free of charge. Employers may either contact the appropriate agency or your local Job Service Office for copies. You may also request copies by e-mailing the Department at Distribution.
The following are required, by state or federal law, to be posted by employers:
- Equal Employment Opportunity
- Federal Minimum Wage (pdf)
- Montana Clean Indoor Air Act (Available from the Department of Public Health & Human Services)
- Polygraph (Does not apply to Public Employers)
- Family Medical Leave Act (pdf)
- Job Safety and Health (OSHA Public Employers) (pdf)
- Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (pdf)
- Proof of Unemployment Insurance coverage - please call (406) 444-3834 for a copy.
- Proof of Workers' Compensation coverage - please contact your insurance provider.
- Prevailing Wage Law (Applicable to Public works projects only)
The Federal Minimum Wage Poster, Unemployment Insurance posting, Notice of Prevailing Wage Rates, as well as the Workers' Compensation posting must be displayed on an employee bulletin board.
